The Women's Forum of North Carolina, founded in 1976, is an invitational organization through which women of proven influence and personal achievement work together to enable women to achieve equality in all arenas of life.
Peace College, chartered in 1857, is a women's college that is committed to challenging and preparing women for meaningful careers and for ethical lives of purpose, leadership, and service. Peace is the only North Carolina institution to offer a leadership studies degree at the baccalaureate level, making the college an ideal partner for developing a leadership and political empowerment program for women.
